This meal-replacement smoothie is more like a chocolatey peanut butter & jelly soft-serve than a health smoothie. The psyllium husks thicken the smoothie and turn it into a bowl of light and fluffy deliciousness, plus add some good dietary fibre.
So good that it’s hard to believe it’s actually good for you!
CHOC PJB SMOOTHIE BOWL
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 frozen banana (or 1/2 cup frozen blueberries)
1 tablespoon peanut butter (or any other nut butter)
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
1 serving of whey protein isolate powder (we like Boomers)
100-200ml filtered water or coconut water (add a little at a time until desired consistency is achieved)
Big handful of baby spinach leaves
1 tablespoon psyllium husks
Blitz all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth and fluffy. Top with a sprinkling of bee pollen for an extra protein & energy hit. YUM!
